Summary:
As a Solar Technical Support Agent, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers and internal teams related to solar energy systems and products.
You will troubleshoot issues, answer inquiries, and guide users through problem resolution to ensure a positive customer experience.
This role requires a strong technical background in solar technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key
Responsibilities:
Customer Support:
Respond to customer inquiries and issues related to solar energy systems via phone, email, or chat.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems with solar panels, inverters, monitoring systems, and other components.
Problem Resolution:
Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for customers.
Collaborate with the outside crew, including engineering and product development, to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Documentation:
Gather, create, and maintain detailed documentation of common technical issues and their resolutions.
Develop and update knowledge base articles for customer self-service.
Quality Assurance:
Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure that products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer interactions.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in solar energy.
Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of technical support processes.
Qualifications:
Experience in a relevant technical field (e.
g.
, electrical engineering, renewable energy).

Knowledge of solar energy systems, including solar panels, inverters, and monitoring systems.
Previous experience in technical support or a related customer-facing role.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and logically.
Familiarity with CRM systems and ticketing software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
