Key Responsibilities of this job are:
Designing metal and aluminum mailboxes using Illustrator, Photoshop, Rhino Cad, Auto CAD, or other software.
Good Mac, Adobe CS, Photoshop and InDesign skills.
Produce concept drawings for each product both for internal and external projects Ensure that all designs are to the company's specifications Work with outside clients with design and receive final approval from each customer on the design Help move jobs from the design phase through the production process.
Ability to learn and operate new Metal fabrication equipment You must be able to problem-solve and stay on task with little management oversight.
You must be a hardworking, self-motivated person who works well with others.
You must be able to adapt to changing situations, protocols, and processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of an associate degree in Graphic Design in industry or similar work experience Proficient in Word & Excel, as well as keyboarding Proficient with CAD / Illustrator / Photoshop Proficient with design creation, logo design, graphic design.
Willing and capable of learning new equipment and software Customer service background is preferred Preferred Skills:
Experience in laser production equipment, metal work and design.
Experience in plaque and vinyl making with Universal laser system equipment.
Website design and Maintenance experience.
Quick books experience Skills & Requirements:
Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role Strong Skills in Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Strong portfolio showcasing design skills Ability to illustrate concepts effectively Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Assist Shipping and Receiving in the organization and packing of finished jobs Assist other Technicians and Operators with their daily tasks Implement all safety procedures regarding tasks and equipment Ensure quality control Work overtime as necessary Hours to be worked:
Monday - Friday 8-5 Must currently be living in the Apple Valley area Job Types:
