The professional we select will drive a 24 to 57-foot truck in order to deliver and pick up dialysis products for home patients and clinics.
Closely following safety guidelines and procedures, this individual will do vehicle inspections and light maintenance, load and unload the truck, perform inventory checks, rotate stock, and note or resolve customer complaints.
PURPOSE AND SCOPE:
Supports FMCNA's mission, vision, core values, and customer service philosophy.
Adheres to the FMCNA Compliance Program, including following all regulatory and division/company policy requirements.
Responsible for the safe delivery and pick-up of dialysis products to home kidney patients and dialysis centers.
Responsibilities include driving a 24 to 57 foot truck, rotating stock, and inventory checks.
Requires operation of truck within Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and guidelines.
DUTIES / ACTIVITIES :
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Responsible for driving the FMCNA culture through values and customer service standards.
Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers.
Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication.
Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve, and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Delivers and picks up dialysis products from home patients and clinics according to established safety procedures and guidelines Ensures good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and behaving with integrity in a courteous and professional manner May take note of and possibly resolve customer complaints Reports more complex issues and complaints to DC staff or Customer Service for resolution Observes and reports any pertinent anomalies at customer sites May set up product and/or place product on shelves or racks at customer sites Performs all duties and functions with the goal to achieve OSHA-related targets for recordable incidents and lost time incidents.
Performs rotation and inventory checks of existing product ensuring that an adequate inventory is available for customers Obtains customer signature for pickup and delivery of dialysis product Adhere to all federal and state specific DOT regulations including, but not limited to GVW (Gross Vehicle weight) and hours of service Identifies and recommends options for route improvements to management as appropriate Vehicle related responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o Performing pre and post trip inspections of assigned vehicle o Identify problems and address appropriatelyo May perform routine maintenance on trucko Unloading and loading freight as required according to specified procedures and regulations o Maintaining cleanliness of truck Participates in monthly/quarterly/annual training for Good Manufacturing Practices, Health & Safety, and Compliance (both corporate and DPD-specific) Remains updated with all annually revised regulatory standards (OSHA, DOT, EPA, FDA, and any state specific agencies) Maintains a satisfactory driving record Operates material-handling equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures as required Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

Heavy physical work with frequent lifting and carrying of objects 25 -50 pounds on a repetitive basis required.
Some deliveries may require carrying product up multiple flights of stairs.
This position requires extended periods of sitting, standing and walking.
Operation of truck may average 6 to 11 hours per day.
EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Minimum 6 years driver experience, preferably in route deliveries.
2 years free of OSHA recordables, DOT accidents, quality issues, roadside inspection violations.
DOT major logbook violations, and significant property damage.
Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
Must posses a Class A or Class B commercial license with a HazMat endorsement Routing software/fleet management.
Experience with on-board computers, paperless DOT logs, and/or electronic capture applications preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
